12:00 Noon C.O. Franklin Park and Horse Show Grounds Free to the Public The Germantown Chorus presents a free concert at noon on the outdoor stage on Saturday of the two-day Germantown Festival. Rain or shine, the concert goes on. Enjoy music and munchies as we gather in the area just south of the food vendors. 6:00 PM St. George's Episcopal Church Tickets: $30/ea, $240 to reserve a table for 8 or $400 to reserve a premium table for 10 For more than twenty-five years, the Chorus has held this annual music and auction extravaganza featuring live and silent auctions, a catered buffet dinner, beverages, desserts and entertainment by the Chorus. Held at St. George's Episcopal Church, Germantown, in the Parish Hall, this event, full of fun and one-of-a-kind finds, is a highlight of the season and a bargain at any price. 7:00 PM Germantown Performing Arts Centre Tickets: $10 / $8 For many years, the Chorus has provided opportunity to area school groups to perform with the Chorus in a professional setting. If your school performance group is interested in performing with the Chorus, please contact us. In partnership with the Memphis City and Shelby County Schools, the Chorus has performed with instrumental and dance teams from MCS and SCS for the past five years. In 2010, 2011 and 2012 the Chorus has partnered with MCS and their annual ARTSFEST. Additional concerts may be added to the schedule as time permits. |
Chorus Dinners
Would you like a private party hosted by Germantown Chorus? A catering and performance team from the Germantown Chorus will prepare and serve, in your home, a five-course gourmet dinner for 8-10 people and provide entertainment for your guests. The cost is per-person (to be negotiated, minimum of $60 pp) depending on menu and beverages served.
After deciding on a mutually agreed time and date, we only ask that you provide your home, or other location, the kitchen, dining table, chairs and place settings for your guests, and a well-tuned grand or baby-grand piano. We do everything else and turn the lights off when we depart! You may also bid on this dinner as a live auction item at the annual Music At Twilight concert and extravaganza in October each year! The Germantown Chorus can possibly be available for concerts in the community. If you are interested in having us perform for your event or venue, please contact the Germantown Chorus at least two months in advance to inquire about scheduling.
